Connect a jumper cable from the LNB to the \u201cTO LNB\u201d connection on the satellite finder.<\/p>\n<p>2. Connecticut the cable from the satellite receiver to the \u201cTO REC\u201d input of the satellite finder.<\/p>\n<p>3. Turn the receiver ON to supply power to the finder and LNB. The meter should light up at this time.<\/p>\n<p>4. Cover the LNB of the dish with aluminum foil to prevent it from sending a signal to the meter.<\/p>\n<p>5. Adjust the dB gain knob of the meter until the needle is mid-scale (about 5).<\/p>\n<p>6. Remove the foil and observe the finder&#8217;s needle. If it doesn&#8217;t move higher, it means you are not on a satellite and will need to adjust the dish, left , right, up, or down to get a signal.<\/p>\n<p>7. If the needle does move higher after removing the foil it indicates you are getting a signal from the satellite. Check the TV screen, with the receiver in the set-up mode, to insure you are on the correct satellite, then return to the dish and adjust as necessary for maximum signal.<\/p>\n<p>8. If the needle maxes out to the end of the scale you may lower the dB gain a bit to bring it back into range to continue adjusting.<\/p>\n<h2>Portuguese version<\/h2>\n<p>Conecte um cabo de liga\u00e7\u00e3o em ponte do LNB \u00e0 conex\u00e3o \u201cTO LNB\u201d no localizador de sat\u00e9lite.<\/p>\n<p>2. Conecte o cabo do receptor de sat\u00e9lite \u00e0 entrada \u201cTO REC\u201d do localizador de sat\u00e9lite.<\/p>\n<p>3. Ligue o receptor para fornecer energia ao localizador e ao LNB. O medidor deve acender neste momento.<\/p>\n<p>4. Cubra o LNB do prato com papel alum\u00ednio para evitar que ele envie um sinal ao medidor.<\/p>\n<p>5. Ajuste o bot\u00e3o de ganho de dB do medidor at\u00e9 que a agulha esteja na escala intermedi\u00e1ria (cerca de 5).<\/p>\n<p>6. Remova a folha e observe a agulha do localizador. Se n\u00e3o subir mais, significa que voc\u00ea n\u00e3o est\u00e1 em um sat\u00e9lite e precisar\u00e1 ajustar o prato, esquerda, direita, cima ou baixo para obter um sinal.<\/p>\n<p>7. Se a agulha se mover mais alto ap\u00f3s remover a pel\u00edcula, isso indica que voc\u00ea est\u00e1 recebendo um sinal do sat\u00e9lite. Verifique a tela da TV, com o receptor no modo de configura\u00e7\u00e3o, para garantir que voc\u00ea est\u00e1 no sat\u00e9lite correto, depois retorne \u00e0 antena parab\u00f3lica e ajuste conforme necess\u00e1rio para obter o sinal m\u00e1ximo.<\/p>\n<p>8.
